The rules for the final exam to obtain the PhD degree are going to change starting from the 29th PhD cycle, that will close on December, 31.
Briefly, PhD students will have to:
- Present a report on their research activity to the faculty of the PhD program. If the evaluatin of the faculty is good they will go on with the thesis, otherwise the final exam will be delayed.
- After the positive evaluation by the faculty, the PhD students will have to submit their thesis to external referees. The referees will admit the candidate to the final exam or delay it.
- The PhD candidates admitted to the final exam will discuss their thesis in presence of a board designed by a Rector’s act.
