Andrea Cavanna, MD PhD FRCP, is Consultant in Behavioural Neurology at the Department of Neuropsychiatry, National Centre for Mental Health, Birmingham (United Kingdom), Honorary Professor in Neuropsychiatry at Aston University, Birmingham (United Kingdom), Honorary Reader in Neuropsychiatry at the University of Birmingham (United Kingdom), and Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Neurology, University College London (United Kingdom). He currently is Lead Consultant for the specialist Tourette syndrome clinic at the Department of Neuropsychiatry, Birmingham, and Deputy Director of the MSc in Clinical Neuropsychiatry, University of Birmingham. In 2010 he received the American Neuropsychiatric Association Career Development Award.
