FRANCESCA NERI was born in VALMOREA (COMO ) on 02-13-47. Graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1971 , specialist in Child Psychiatry in 1976. From 1973 to 1998 she was MED/39 Researcher at the University of Milan. From 1998 to 2001 she was Assistant Professor Univ Milano Bicocca . From 2001 to 2005 she was Associate Professor MED/39 University of Brescia. From 1 March 2005, MED/39 Associate Professor at the School of Medicine, and Surgery Univ. Milano Bicocca. Since 1 November 2006 she Full Professor MED 39 University of Milan Bicocca . Since 2005 she is Director of the School of Specialization in NPI Univ. Milano Bicocca.

  • developmental disorders and psichopatology in childhood and adolescence
  • eating disorders in adolescence

RESEARCH PROGRAM

The research interests concern the relationship between neurobiological and psychopathological aspects of the most common and serious distortions of development in childhood and adolescence ( autism, eating disorders , personality disorder , bipolar disoder , depression) focusing on the aspects of family and transgenerational relationship.
